So far, i will prefer Adobe photoshop for my image editing. It has a simple interface to use various features. It has strong ties with its other adobe software for media editing, animation and authoring.  The original format of photoshop “.pdf” can be exported to and from other format. For example from Adobe image ready, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Pri\emiere Pro and After Effects. For video editing software i will prefer to use microsoft moviemaker software. And for interactive flash applications I will pick Adobe flash( a product of adobe) because I am familiar to Adobe Photoshop and it might help in some extend.

I am familiar with MS Word2003/2007. When I start using Google Docs and ZOHO writer and Wiki program I found they have almost similar interface to create document, save and edit etc. MS Word 2003/2007 is very popular among people. When I use google docs and zoho writer I tried to compare with MS word. I found it helpful. I found that wiki programs and google docs has less features compare to zoho.So for my future document writing I will use MS Word 2003/2007 when working offline and Zoho writer when working online.

Comparision between facebook, ning, LinkedIn, pownce and friendfeed:

I have been using facebook for more than four years. I am pretty much familiar to this compare to other. Adding, removing, inviting friends, updating own profile are the common feature of this social networking programs. It has the simple and user-friendly interface. We can have collaboration through groups, events, personal message, chat, group message etc. We can observe the recent activities of the person in the friend list and can search friend in smart way. In ning (http://www.ning.com/) we can create create a social network and invite people to join or one can join to the social network with someone’s invitation to join to the network. We can create a group in the network and share the information within group. Currently we are using a group network called infotechtools created by our lecturer.We can post our discussion message in the whole network or in the group. I think this one is better for sharing information with friends.Linkedln is somewhat similar to facebook. Here we can import the contacts from our different email address list such as hotmail, yahoo, gmail, AOL to add them in our network. This social network is business oriented. This is very useful for employers and job seekers etc. Pownce is also one of the free social networking and micro blogging site. Here you can easily post message to the whole group or to individual people. We can import contacts from different networks and email address books such as facebook, digg, gmail, hotmail, aol. Other thing I like about it is we can post our other profile through our URLFriendfeed allows us to use multiple social network. We can add a number of services such as RSS, facebook, googletalk, Pownce, twitter, you tube, account profiles to this network.We can post a message to the people in our subscription list and read the message from them. 

For my future purpose I will keep facebook as my social network because it is very user-friendly for me. Its is easy to  I have created a big network of my friends and relatives on this. The other reason is the most of the people know facebook more than other social networking program. However for my professional networking I would like to use Linkedin because it is built in such a way that it looks professional and is designed for the same purpose also.

This learning unit basically dealt with information content creation, sharing and publishing. The protocol called Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is used to communicate and transfer information between client browser and web server. HTML( hypertext markup language ) is the language used to create documents for the WWW. It is a standard based markup language that is supported by World wide web consortium and the HTML working group details. Here we also learned about the basic syntax for HTML commands. Various resources for getting more information about HTML are also mentioned.In this unit we also dealt with the Google group collaboration tools. The interesting part is that we can create a web page which can be controlled by a specified group of people. We also use some links to build our websites in a minutes.  I joined several social sites and created personal web pages.We also had brief introduction on social network services. It uses software to build online social network for communities of people who share interests and activities or who are interested in exploring the interests and activities of others. Today’s most popular network web sites are facebook, Myspace, Hi5 etc.
